Chapter three State and Empire in Eurasia/ North Africa

State and Empire

One of the main things that happened between 500 BCE and 500 CE was the advancements in communication that empires set up in order to send information and trade.

A major civilization that played a large role in history was the Persian Empire. This was an extensive area of land that provided the world during that time a connection that had not be done yet. The connection between the north of Africa and Eurasia created a bridge of goods and ideas that people had for once.

For the most part the Persian Empire consisted of large palaces enforced taxes and monuments. All of these things were good and it was all put together by providing canals and a type of army that was placed on each town making this a secure place to live in.

Greek colonization was also important because there was a massive impact in religion and in the increase in knowledge of medal working. For the most part the Greeks were know for managing free affairs in state and for the Olympic games. This is important because it provides a massive increase in their army and their leadership infrastructure.

The Roman Empire was an important part of history also the land was know to be ruled by Alexander the Great and he helped spread Greece. The Roman empire was incredibly large made up by most of the South of modern Europe.

Another civilization that played a large role in history was China's set of empires. In general all of these dynasties were a set of rulers that succeeded one after the other. After one was succeeded the other would try to fix problems that happened or increase the land that they ruled.
