Chapter two First Civilizations

First Civilization
Some of the main points that this chapter provides has to do with the increase in life quality which means that people lived longer in general.

Major changes happened during this time such as the quality of life for people. For the most part there was a surplus food which meant that there was a more food that was needed for basic survival. Some of the ways that homo sapiens keep this amount of food was through storing abilities that they developed through time. Some people would sell, trade, or eat more. All of these changed the way that people reacted to certain things like the life construction of their homes and  the way that they planted.

For the most part since there was an increase in food homo sapiens could become specialized in one thing for the first time in history. A person could dedicate its life making shoes but could still manage to survive because they could still live trading and or selling their merchandise.

People managed to live in a society that started to concentrate on looks and less in the basic things like food and water. By concentrating in looks people started to obtain things like jewelry starting the ideals in possession and hierarchy. These apply to each other because the life of people had an abrupt change when it came to the importance of some one as a person. People who were rich were now able to do things that no one could do.

An important feature during this time was the creation of crucial civilizations like the Egyptians and the Mesopotamian which clearly showed a difference in technology and life style in general.

The Hammurabi laws also played a large role during this time because it allowed people in general to start to follow the rules set by society and by doing this people had to set limits and start to become civilized which was one of the first times that things started to somewhat resemble the things of now a days.
